Matt, unsanded Wasserstrich facing bricks are richly shaded and are the result of a complex production process. The clay is first pressed into a mould and then rolled. Then the bricks are removed from the mould, which produces their irregular Wasserstrich structure. The series with its extra-long, thin size and lightly abraded structure – has many enthusiasts. The Wasserstrich Special facing bricks, which are produced in our plant in Beerse, Belgium, are now available in four additional colours: white, opal white, grey-white and quartz-grey. These tones, with their intriguing depth and rich shades, are obtained by coating engobes onto a white or grey base brick.
