JURY VOICES – ARCHITECTS SPEAK ABOUT THEIR MOTIVATION TO SUPPORT THE BRICK AWARD

Brick Award

Since 2004, the Wienerberger Brick Award has provided a unique platform for the recognition of outstanding international brick architecture. With this year’s architecture award, Wienerberger is once again - and for the eighth time - providing an insight into the multi-faceted world of high-class brick architecture.

Nearly 600 projects from 44 countries have been submitted for this year’s award. 50 projects have been selected by a pre-jury for the final jury session.

This year’s winners will be selected by a jury of renowned experts consisting of five architects from five countries:

Vladimir Arsene, Westfourth Architecture (Romania), Stephan Ferenczy, BEHF Corporate Architects (Austria), Anne Kaestle, Duplex Architekten (Germany) – winner of the 2016 Wienerberger Brick Award Special Prize, Marc Mimram, Marc Mimram Architecture (France) and Jonathan Sergison, Sergison Bates architects (United Kingdom).

What motivated them to participate as a member of the jury for this international award? Find out in the videos below!
